This calendar scroll is ready to adorn a wall in your home or work space! In celebration of Chinese Lunar New Year, Jess collaborated with her cousin, illustrator Lauren Navarrete, to design this festive wall piece. This year we celebrate the Year of the Ox!

All major Chinese lunar holidays are marked on this 2021 solar calendar, so you know when to get ready to make those holiday dishes throughout the year. It’s really always all about the food!

This limited edition of calendars are hand printed by Chinese American artist and dumpling specialist, Jessica Li. Gold numbers are applied by hand, by Jess’s father, Wan-Ling “Willie” Wang.

Two physical options available:

1) Both the $36 + $50 calendar scrolls come with wooden hardware (chopsticks!) attached to the top and bottom of the bamboo paper screen-printed poster scroll, for easy hanging, and a minimal look. The purchase of a calendar includes admission to a virtual Chinese cooking lesson, or two. That’s a value of $25-35 per session! A code will be provided via email following your purchase, for you to apply to a workshop of your choosing. You may invite a plus one to join you!

2) The $20 poster is without dowels, and does not include admission to a workshop.

Proceeds from calendar sales will go toward funding a self-published recipe booklet of Jess’s favorite Chinese recipes featuring fermented foods.
